It's all about time...BOTTOM TIME! Nitrox has been the breathing gas of choice for the military and for recreational divers throughout the world for several decades. 

We know that nitrogen is the culprit responsible for two diving maladies: DCI (decompression illness) and narcosis. 

Therefore anything divers can do to reduce the amount of nitrogen in their gas will be beneficial in several ways. Typically, nitrogen is reduced simply by adding oxygen, thus making the gas "oxygen enriched." 

The course tuition of $235.00 is a package price; included are 2 open water dives (boat or shore), rental scuba equipment (BCD, reg wetsuit, all student materials, fill station tour, c-card and snacks. Divers must be Open Water certified (or equivalent). 

Certified in a single day, your Enriched Air Nitrox Diver certification allows you to dive longer, reduce narcosis and post-dive fatigue, shorten your surface intervals, and add a safety margin automatically. Also, the gas used for the production of nitrox is measurably cleaner, as a rule, than standard compressed air.

Nitrox certification is also a prerequisite for many technical diving activities, such as Stage Decompression Diver, Deep Air Diver, Advanced Nitrox Diver, Gas Blender & Advanced Gas Blender, and Trimix Diver, all of which are offered by Sunrise Scuba Adventures.
